Working Principle
Bimetallic Disc: The heart of the KSD301 is a bimetallic disc, composed of two metals with different thermal expansion coefficients.
Temperature Change: As the temperature surrounding the thermostat increases or decreases, the bimetallic disc responds by bending.
Snap-Action Mechanism: When the temperature reaches a predetermined set point, the bimetallic disc snaps, causing the electrical contacts to open or close abruptly. This rapid action ensures precise temperature control.
Temperature Reset: Once the temperature falls below the reset point, the bimetallic disc returns to its original position, resetting the contacts.
